STUDENT FEEDBACK

COM 114, FALL 2024

Alexis did a great job at creating a fun and energetic environment for us to learn in. This made it so I enjoyed every class and enjoyed waking up in the morning to come. Additionally, her lessons were very clear and incorporated fun activities that helped teach the material whilst allowing us to socialize and enjoy learning.

COM 114, FALL 2024

You were such a great instructor. This class was so fun and you made the enviornment so welcoming.

COM 217, SPRING 2025

One thing Alexis does very well is creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment. I really appreciate how she gives clear, constructive feedback on our speeches—it's helped me build confidence and improve my public speaking. She also encourages participation and keeps the class discussions relevant and interesting. I hope she continues to provide that kind of feedback and maintain the positive, encouraging atmosphere she’s established.

COM 217, FALL 2025

Very good at communicating with and relating to students. Answers questions in a way that are easy to understand, gives good feedback on how we can improve for our next speech.

COM 217, FALL 2025

I like how the course is structured
and how Ms. Denham teaches. She genuinely cares about us and learning within the class. I especially appreciate the fact that she realizes that this is not our only class and is able to realize that a little bit of leniency can be good.

COM 303, FALL 2025

[Alexis] spent time getting to know the students personally and professionally, worked to be a constant within the educational environment. I hope Alexis continues to do exactly what she is doing, as I feel I grew as a person because of her and had someone on campus I could talk to if I ever needed to. She was both friendly and invested in our education and came to class each morning with energy to spare. After a 7:30, it certainly helped get me excited to grow.

COM 303, FALL 2025

I really like how well this instructor communicates with us; she is really good at clearly explaining the expectations of the class. She is also a very good lecturer and I feel that I have learned a lot from this class.
